A COLD day up the hill

Met up with Shaun at 5 am in Georgetown and we headed up the hill.Lots of ice on the roads but no snow .We launched in calm waters and put out some stick baits to try to entice a big brown to play.We ripped the shore for a few hrs for one little guy and then when the trolling motor was thawed we slowed and tried some spinners and draggins.We managed a few more fish and with the wind picking up we headed in.I have never had as much trouble retrieving a boat the shallow launch and wind made for a difficult job.
