Kokoloco joined me for my new boats first salt trip. Launched at 7:30 am and once through the Jaws we found a nice flat Ocean. We ran to the 22/ 12 area where we found a ton of stick boats. We worked that area along with the 300 ft line. I ended up farming 3 of the first fish which I belive was silvers. Koko ended up getting the first fish to the boat which was a throw back fish. He ended getting a buck out out of my Riptide fund. As time went on it was very slow. We made a move in closer and ended up finding the fleet which was at 24/ 11. We worked the outside of the fleet and ended up getting 3 nice kings. Koko got the biggest which was 17.1 lbs. I ended up with my limit 12.7 lbs and 6.7 lbs. Our best set up was a Green/ silver VK-2 and a green RSK. Koko got his a green/ silver flasher and a red FBR. Best depth was 40 ft. speed was 2.2 mph. setback was 20 ft behind the ball. For bait anchovie was best.

Stats- Air Temp- L- 50* H- 60*, Water temp- 56.6*, water - flat, clarity- 12 ft, skies- foggy, wind- calm. Hrs fished 8:15 am till 2:49 pm
