Thanks to the Pirate of the Rubicon fly Co for sponsoring our latest trip.Josh and I arrived in Bodega at 6am to our surprise an almost empty lot we launched with one other boat and headed out.When we reached the end of the jetty we headed north to Salmon Creek.Our other surprise was the fog was not there !Josh's rod was first to strike and one dollar latter we threw back a 23 .Next one was mine and it felt good .I battled the fish for supremacy and finely landed my PB ocean Salmon at 17 lbs.My rod goes off again and Josh is up another good fish and when we see the flash of chrome we KNOW its a good fish. many head shakes and a launch latter we capture this one in the net a new PB for Josh 30.8 lbs.We tried for a bit longer for the devil fish and soon gave up and headed in Josh many thanks for a great trip again.

I wish I could have joined you guys. Grandpa had me drive his POS motorhome up to the Ranch then cut weeds and thistle till dark.
