Big Ken and I teamed up to do the Bucks Derby. We left Friday morning to check out the lake and do some pre fishing. Started fishing at 11:00 am at Rainbow Point. We ended up finding a bunch of dink kokes there so we moved to the Dam then the Marina area. Dinks was everywhere. For the day we got two macks 14 and 14 1/2 inches. We got one rainbow 15 1/2 inches. The kokes where 12,10,8,7, and 7 inches. Best set up was a GVF crystal watermellon spinbug and a RMT watermellon dodger. Best depth was 35 ft. Speed was 1.2 mph, Herring for the corn. Short set backs.

Derby Day, Started at 6 am and at Rainbow Pt. Pretty slow so we moved to the Marina. We found most of our action there. We ended up with 5 kokes 7,11,12,11 and 11 1/2 inches. One mack 15 inches and one 15 inch Bow. Best set up was a GVF red glow Premium spinbug and a red/ silver GVF Swoosh dodger. Best depth was 35 ft. Speed 1.2 mph. Garlic and Herring corn best with short setbacks.

Stats- Air Temp- L 49* H- 88*, water temp- 70.3*, water level- full spilling, Clarity- Funky Green with 8 ft Vis. Skies- sunny, wind- 0-5 mph. Hrs Fished 6 am till 1:32 pm
