When Shaun and I met in Auburn at 4 we had light rain ,I had hoped the forecaster I watched was right and it would wait till later to snow. NO SUCH LUCK we started to see the white stuff around blue canyon and it didnt take long for it to get to 2" so I chose not to push it and we turned around .I found out a little later the chain controls went up at Kingvale so no Pyramid for us.We took 174 across to Grass Valley and had some breakfast at the IHOP and headed to Englebright. We had a drizzle all morning and we put some Draggins down to see if the fish would play.Shaun was able to get 3 Bows to the boat I got Nada ....Its still fishing.

Well it wasnt pyramid but we had a warm lunch(thanks Shaun)and gave it a go .

Sounds like a good go of it guys. That storm was a sneaker. Last time I checked the weather it wasn't suppose to rain all week. Glad you guys still got to wet a line.

Good call coming back down the hill. It wouldn't have been fun coming down the grade into truckee.
Pyramid didn't want you guys going without me. LOL I think she wants to get even with Rich and I after last time. Hopefully she won't be too cruel. LOL
