Loose Goose teamed up with me to do the CVA New Mellonies Derby. We launched at 6:05 am and was fishing at 6:20 am. We started at the Spill way we picked up two fish 15 and 15 1/2 inches. We worked our way to the Dam and picked up four more fish. 7,5,10 and 11 inches. We also farmed a bunch more dinks. We later found out that the best bite was up against the Dam early. LG had the best set up which was a RM Funky Frog Purple Passion dodger and a Vances hot pink Hoochie. Best depth was 92 ft. Speed was 1.2 mph, corn scent was garlic. Set backs was short.
Stats= Air Temp- L-68* H- 97*, water temp was 77.4* warming to 81.1*, water level looked 20 ft from spill, Clarity- 11ft, Skies- sunny, hot, Wind - North 0-5 mph. Hrs fished 6:20 am till 1:18 pm
