Dale Gibbons (Big D) invited on a striper troll. We launched his 16ft Design Concepts at Sandy Beach at 7:38 am. Trolled the West Bank from Sandy Beach to the Power Lines and back shallow for 0. We then made that same troll with DD in deeper water for 0. Moved over to Horse Shoe for a deep and shallow troll for 0. Dale then said lets make the long 37 minute ride up to light 69 in the DWC. We did and trolled from 11:18 am till 3:32 pm. We ended up 3 keepers 19,22, and 19 1/2 inches. We also got one 16 inch shaker. All four fish came on a Chartruse/ red P-line Preditor DD and a 1 1/2 oz green Buck Tail. Trolled at 2.7 mph. 130 ft setback.
By the time we got back to Sandy Beach it made for a long day. LOL..
