Gary had been talking Sturgeon so I booked a ride on the S.S. Fish Junky. We met up at Kevin's house and loaded up for the day. We planned to fish late into the night.Stopped in Vacaville for some breakfast and then headed to the ramp at the Napa. We got our bait ($75) and went to check San Pablo Bay. Wind was up as we entered the bay and boats were headed in so we opted to go up river where we had had some luck before.

Both Fish Junky and I struck first and I had a bullhead
and Kevin set the hook on a 29" sturgeon his first to the boat wish it was a bigger one but glad I was able to help him get his first to the boat. We left a little earlier then we had planed and pushed ourselves thru the mud at low tide ,Kevin had a emergency at home.
Be back again next year for sure to get another keeper.Thanks Kevin for taking us out in your boat Thanks Gary for all the help and such.
