My friend Steve Tucker joined me for a last minute trip to the Port Of Sacramento. This is the first striper trip aboard my new No Paint Rite. Launched at 7am and headed down the Channel. Dropped in at the famous Palm Tree and trolled down to light 69. We ended getting 6 stripers to the boat and no LDR's. Fish where 27,18,19, 23 1/2, 20 and 18 1/2 inches. We kept the four biggest and the others swam happily away. Best lure was the new P-Line Preditor DD in the 0-10 color. I call it a Fast Trac from the old BB Rebel times. LOl.. Speed was 2.4 mph. Depth of water was 17 to 20 ft. Setbacks was 97 ft on the inside rod and 125 on the outside rod. White trick worms was used.
Stats= Air Temp- L-47* H-77*, water temp- 66.6*, clarity 1 1/2 ft, Tides was L- 7:53 am and H- 12:55 pm, skies- sunny, wind NW- 0-5 mph. Hrs fished 7:14 am till 12:30 pm.
