Kokoloco invited me to join him for a troll for stripers. We usally do pretty good this time of the year even in the cold water. We launched his 17 NR Bayhawk at 7:48 am and headed for the Glass House. Trolled from there to almost the locks for one 15 inch striper. We picked up and moved to Nurse and Little Honker. No love there. Our last stop was Cut Off Slough. As I was thinking how it would be nice to have a striper dinner my rod got slammed. I picked up a 5 lb striper on a Rattle Trap. After that we had no more action.
Lures where - Rattle Traps and Swim Baits, Trolled at 2.5 mph, Best Area- None really, Water Temp- 48.1*, Air Temp- 60's, Water Clarity - Very Brown, Tides - L -7:07 am H- 12:56 pm, Skies- Foggy then Sunny, Wind- 0-5 mph. Hrs fished - 8:10 am till 2:42 pm.
