Kokoloco and Josh (Salmotrutta) Joined me for a trip out the Gate. Launched at Sausalito at 6:40 am. Headed out of the Gate and ran North to Stinson Beach Beach. Dropped in with a thousand boat fleet at 7:32am. Trolled the area for a while with out any action. Picked up and headed to the 47/39 area. There was a few boat's around along with a few party boats. We started getting action. We ended up getting 4 shakers from around 15 inches to 23 inches. We ended up with two keepers 28 inches and 25 inches. Koko got to fight a big 25 lb + king for a while but it turned out to be a SDR. Best set up was green/ silver VK-2 and a green RSK. Depths varied from 26 to 60 ft OTW. Choves was the best bait with added Pro Cure chovie gell. Best speed was 2.4 mph (gps). Set backs where shore 12 and 15 ft.
Stats- Air Temp- L-54* H- 65*, water temp- 59.7*, Water was flat, clarity- 14 ft, Skies- high patchy fog, wind - SSW- 5-8 mph, HRS fished 7:37 am till 4:30 pm
