My friend Ron Souza joined me at the Port for some more striper fishing. Launched at 8:42 am and headed for the Barge Canal. After a pass up and back there was no body home. Didn't bother trolling the Basin so we headed down for the Channel. Once we got passed the Fertilizer plant we started hooking up. Ended the day at 2:41 pm with 8 fish to the boat. Sizes- 16,15,21,24,22,18,19 1/2, and 17 1/2 inches. Nothing big but still alot of fun. Best set up was a chartruse/red P-Line predator and a chartruse Buck Tail. Trolled at 2.5 to 2.7 mph, 135 ft back, water temp 51.9, clarity 2 ft, skies sunny, wind calm. Hrs fished 9:02 am till 2:41 pm.
