Saturday morning Me and Kokoloco made the long ride up to Medford Oregon to pick up my No Paint Rite. On the way home Kokoloco joined me Sunday morning for a Shasta Lake trout troll. Launched at Bridge Bay at 6:15 am and was trolling in front of the Marina at 7am. Kokoloco got the first fish and I got the next 5 fish. Koko came alive toward the end of the day getting the last 4. The rainbows where real fat and pucking shad. The fish where 15,15 1/2,17,14,16,13,13 1/2,14 1/2,13 1/2, and 13 1/2 inches. Best lure was a blue/ silver Excell and a blue/ silver Cyclops spoon. Long setback where 100 and 125 ft, speed was 1.6 to 1.8 mph, depths was surface to 18 ft, Area Bridge Bay and the Hwy 5 bridge. Scent- Pro Cure trophy trout.
Stats- Air- Air temp- L- 57* H- 87*, water temp- 68.6* to 70.1*, water level down 50 ft, clarity- 14ft, skies partly cloundy, precipitation 1 downpour, wind- 0 to 8 mph. Hrs trolled 7am till 1 pm.
