Kokoloco and Beale Bass joined for a guided striper trip on the Sacramento River. I booked us to fish with Bare Bones Guide Service. We launched at Tisdale at 6:05 am and head up stream for a few miles. Our guide Bret had us all set up to drift minnows. As we where flying along in his gorgious 21 1/2 ft Design Concepts jetboat we came along all kinds of stripers crashing the water. We made several drifts through them with constant action on schoolie stripers. After the sun hit the water it was all over. The rest of the day we picked up a fish here and there but did have one triple in one hole. We ended the day at 1:30 pm. We ended up 18 keepers and 2 shakers. 2 to 15 lbs.
