Kokoloco and Gadgetman joined me for a crab trip. Our plan was to go to Bodega but the weather didn't look good so we opted for a Tomales try. Launched at Nicks Cove at 7:43 am and dropped our 7 pots between Hog Island and the Bar. We ended the day at 3:01 pm for 20 crab for the 3 of us. Best area was in 26 ft just west of Hog Island. For bait we used salmon heads, salmon carcuses, and old kokanee guts and heads.
Some stats- Air temp- L-40* H- 49*, water temp 54.3*, clarity was around 5 ft, tides- H- 6:50 am L- 12:05 pm, Skies- foggy then partly sunny, wind NW 7-15 mph. Hrs crabbed 8:47 am till 3:01 pm.
